Indian Internet Users will Cross 829 Million in 4 Years

A recent report says that Internet users in India are set to double by the year 2021 from 373 million (in 2016) to 829 million. It means about 59% of the population will have access to Internet by then.  Consequently, the number of devices will increase from 1.4 billion to 2 billion.

The Internet protocol traffic is poised to grow 4 times by 2021 at a compounded growth rate of 30% a year, according to the Visual Networking Index (VNI) Complete Forecast.

Sanjay Kaul, MD, Service Provider Business, CISCO India SAARC says, “Combining device capabilities with faster, higher bandwidth and more intelligent networks is leading to wide adoption of high bandwidth data, video and advanced multimedia applications that contribute to increased mobile and Wi-Fi traffic.”

“The need for optimized bandwidth management, network automation, end to end security and ultimately network monetization through cost efficient data production is fueling the growth of network automation, mass market 4G deployments and adoption, soon to be followed with 4.5G and 5G,” he further added.

The report further states that out of the total 2 billion devices, mobile to mobile (M2M) connections will be 22% and connections will represent 5% of total IP traffic by 2021.

This incremental growth will be driven by advancements in IoT applications like smart meters, package tracking, digital health monitors and an array of other next-generation M2M services.

The report says that the IP traffic and overall growth of Internet traffic will be dominated by video which will account for 76% of all Internet traffic in 2021, which was 57% in 2016.

The report also points out that by 2021, the Internet video minutes per month will touch 84 billion which stands for one hundred and sixty thousand years of video per month, which in other words, about thirty two thousand video minutes every second.

The Phenomenal growth in internet users will make digital media the most powerful platform for communication, advertising, marketing and product promotion. MATChBOX has mastered the art of using digital media, we have a team of certified digital media experts who handle and guide your online presence.

World Environment Day (5 June, 2017)

MAA, TUJHE SALAAM!

World Environment day is being celebrated on Monday, 5 June, 2017. Being a prominent event management company in Central India, we take this opportunity to suggest how can the environment be protected while managing the events.

Waste Management

japanese

One of the biggest concerns happens to be the excessive litter and waste at the site, normally noticed at the end of the event. Possibly here the nationality and culture matters. Giving an example from the Japanese here may not be out of context.

Japanese did not win the match against Greece in 2014 World Cup Football but won the hearts of the millions when an army of 15000 cleaned up the entire stadium, including the washrooms after the match was over. It turns out that Japanese football fans have a tradition of cleaning up the stadium after matches at home, a practice which the fans vigorously Undertook in Brazil. May be we should take a leaf out of the Japanese book.

Special care needs to be taken if the event is held near a water course or animal sanctuary.

Energy Management

Consumption of energy is a drain on the environment and such consumption in an event cannot be wished away. Energy is bound to be consumed while the preparations for the event are being made and the construction on site is on. Also while the event is being run and when the spectators are traveling. If the event is conducted for more than single day, visitors may stay in nearby overnight accommodation, and so will need to travel to and fro between their accommodation and the event site. In fact, it may help if centralized buses are made available for the spectators rather than their coming down individually.

Food and Drink

Another aspect to consider here is the type of food and drinks being arranged for the event. Organizers of some of the events go overboard to please and get exclusive food or drink items from outside. This consumes fuel for transporting which should be avoided. As far as feasible, local food and drink items should be arranged to soften effect on environment. This will help local economy as well.

And, most important, wastage of food and drinks must be avoided at all costs.

By all means, associate with best event management companies, corporate event planners but lay down the ground rules and make sure that such events do not burn a hole in your pockets or even do not damage the environment. Better, associate with us, have a grand successful event; we will help you ensure that there is minimum detrimental impact on the environment. Let us reciprocate to Mother Nature who gives us so much without charging for it.

It is a form of Internet marketing. SMM uses the increasing popularity of social networking sites. It produces attractive contents that users will share in their social media network. This activity helps a company to enhance its brand exposure and broaden customer base.

Social media optimization (SMO) is one of the significant highlights of SMM. Like search engine optimization (SEO), SMO also envisages attracting new visitors to a website. SMO adopts two routes. They are, adding social media links to content, or promotion through social media (e.g: updating status, tweets or blog posts).

SMM paves the way for a company to get direct feedback from existing and potential customers. Social media being interactive in nature, it provides customers the opportunity to raise queries or put forth complaints and suggestions. This facet of SMM is termed as social customer relationship management. SMM produces contents that users will share in their social network, enabling brand exposure and further widen customer reach.

Social media optimization (SMO)

To enhance awareness about a product, service brand or event, SMO uses a number of social media sites and communities. Types of social media used include RSS feeds, social news and bookmarking sites, Twitter, and video sharing websites and blogging sites. SMO is akin to search engine optimization as the goal of both is to attract more visitors for promotion of a website. SMO optimizes a website and its content enabling more visitors to view and share links through social media and other networking sites.

SMO takes up creation of unique contents (well-written texts, eye-catching digital pictures, video clips etc) so that people constantly engage with the website and share with their social media contacts. ORM or online reputation management can also be done through SMO. This envisages that when such an eventuality arises, SMO ensures that the adverse feedback is accorded least preference in a list of search engine results.

Google Maps and Google Earth carry GSV technology. Panoramic views from different positions along many streets in the world are provided. GSV has worldwide reach, not only in major cities and towns, but also rural areas. The blue lines on Google Maps indicate the streets with Street View imagery.

Besides text, the content of the message can include multimedia as well. MMS is widely used for promoting and advertising brands and products. In a single shot it targets a wider audience.

E-mail Marketing

Email has emerged as a highly useful marketing tool to circulate. Promotional messages are created for products, services or specific schemes and offers for festival and other special occasions. It is meant to build loyalty, trust, or brand awareness. An expert can design attractive and effective e-mailers.

Content Marketing

Be it print or electronic media, good contents always attract attention. Attractive contents, if marketed properly online, can yield better and quicker results. Content marketing focuses on creating and circulating content online for a targeted audience. Mostly, it is used for commercial purposes, such as:

• Customer base expansion

Companies resort to different ways and means for lead generation. Unlike traditional methods, online lead generation is more effective and elicits faster results. Online lead generation can be leveraged through paid search engine marketing and social media network. An online marketing consultant can help in faster lead generation through various digital marketing tools, quicker conversion resulting in increase in revenue with comparatively much lower overheads.

Positive Celebration of Holi with Holy Spirit

India is a country of festivals. Of all festivals, Holi, undoubtedly is the most colorful. In most part of the country the day of Holi is a holiday. People greet each by throwing colors. People bathed in different colors, is a feast to eyes. Young and old, rich and poor, all play with colors with equal enthusiasm. Yes, equality is the most significant highlight of Holi. No caste discrimination. White or black, color of skin also doesn’t matter.

Holi celebrations explicitly display the real spirit of equality.

The harmless Holi celebrations sometimes takes a horrible turn when hooligans infiltrate among innocent group of people with harmful chemical colors. They are antisocials with ulterior motives. Beware of such hooligans. Isolate them. Don’t entertain or mingle with them.

Celebrate Holi in its real spirit with harmless and natural colors.

We should also take care that in the melee of celebrations we are not contributing to atmospheric pollution which is already in an alarming state. The need of the hour is to reduce use of colors  to bare minimum, if possible limit it to putting “tilak” on each other’s forehead.

Inculcate the “tilak Holi” culture in children as well.

Limited use of colors will also save wastage of water. Water is becoming scarce by the day. Looking at the summer season ahead, it is our duty to save each drop of water.

This Holi, let us relook at all types of celebrations. As responsible citizens, let us show our social responsibility and get rid of such part of celebrations that have negative consequences like misuse and wastage of water, air pollution or harmful in any other way.

Let us initiate a new culture of “positive celebrations”.

Like all other festivals, Holi is also the celebration of the victory of good over evil. Hence, let us not forget the fact that the real spirit of Holi is Holy.

Celebrate Holi on the holiday of Holi and enliven the Holy Spirit every day.Happy Holi 2015 Lovely HD Images and Pictures colors in holi

The Winning Edge of Audio-Visual Films

AV films are fast becoming an integral part of corporate culture as the most effective and useful tool to express ideas. Power point presentations are still doing the rounds in business meetings. However, AV films are considered a better option.

Corporate films are more useful in promoting products and business. Corporate, product-centric and specific need based films have many advantages, like:

Advantages of Audio-Visual Films
 More effective and meaningful expression of ideas.
 Attractive and entertaining (not boring).
 Visual images create lasting impression in the minds of viewers than conventional presentations which are more speech-oriented and the viewers get bored quickly.
 Better time management. Unlike other presentations, film takes much lesser time. Saves precious time of the target audience as well as the presenter.

A business prospect will be more impressed if a short film on the company and products are shown than hours of exhausting presentation, speech and discussion. Similarly, to create awareness about the company and promote products and services films can be the better option. Not only as sales and marketing tool, films can also help promote brand value and brand equity.

Go digital” is the new buzzword. Corporates, small and big, all are resorting to the digital platform to advertise, promote and sell products and services. Not only corporate, social organizations and even individuals are active on the digital arena. A well produced short film, if effectively projected on the digital space, can elicit a tsunami of business proposals and brand promotion.

The digital space knows no geographical boundaries and has vast potential. Digital is the most effective, innovative and infinite medium to advertise and promote products/services as well as building brand and corporate image. Social media is one of the most popular tributaries of the digital world. An audio-visual representation on social media can gain unimaginable mileages of promotional advantages.

Customer testimonials in the form of written statement are passé. Now the trend is “speaking customer testimonials”. Customers testifying live as part of an AV film about their expectations and experience on the products and services can have high degree of positive influence amongst potential customers. Films are equally effective in sharing about a past/present/future event, initiative, scheme, project etc. Films on corporate social responsibility of can enhance image of the organization.

All said and done, production of the AV film is the key. The task should be entrusted to expert agencies with experience in the field. The film should be made with precision and finesse that it becomes an audio-visual treat for the target audience. Also ensure perfect blend of audio-visual effects and images with befitting voice-over.

Yes, with AV films, its advantages all the way.

Ready, Steady, Start-Up!

Start Up

Even the harshest critics of government of India won’t disagree with the fact that one of its ambitious programmes, “Start-Up India”, started off with a bang and going gung-ho. Not only aspiring young entrepreneurs, even retired professionals enthusiastically plunged into the Start-Up bandwagon. Most of them explored hitherto unheard of avenues in the vast information technology space. Apart from business and professional applications, information technology is fast infiltrating into social and personal lives also, as an essential tool encompassing all walks.

Undoubtedly, the Centre’s demonetization drive had its own negative impacts, temporary though, on the public, especially those in the lowest strata. However, this step has given a fillip to the digitalization process, thereby strengthening the grip of information technology over the masses. The Centre’s another pet project, “Digital India”, will carry this drive forward.

Let us view the changing scenario clubbed with the most serious problem the country is facing, unemployment. It is a fact that unemployment is reaching gigantic proportions by the day. However, look at the other side of the coin – lack of skilled manpower. Here comes the relevance of yet another significant programme of the Centre, “Skill India”.

A unique feature of the government’s mega projects and programmes is that they are interlinked. Even the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan is no different. Many Start-Ups are involved in scientific way of waste management.

In India today, there is no dearth of opportunities for skilled people. Also, scope for setting up business galore for qualified professionals with entrepreneur skills. What is needed is a drastic change in mindset, attitude and approach. Instead of wasting time waiting for opportunities to come to your doorstep, make use of the opportunities available by acquiring requisite skill and technology. Use your imagination to pursue unexplored avenues of businesses under the Start-Up drive.

Producing skilled manpower by imparting requisite knowledge and training itself is an ocean of opportunities.

Instead of lamenting on unemployment or lack of opportunities, start thinking Start-Up.
